This wall cabinet is in very good and original condition and was manufactured by the prestigious London cabinet making firm of Edwards and Roberts in the Sheraton revival style in the Late Victorian era. They used the very highest of materials and craftsmen to produce their pieces and this cabinet is a fine example. With 2 glazed doors and 2 shelves to the interior, it also features a "swan neck pediment" inlaid with hare-wood in a foliate design, a dental cornice and hare bells inlaid to either side of the doors.1040mm high, 700mm wide and 230mm deep. W J Gravener Antiques is a family owned business, started in 1963 by William who was joined by son, Mark in 1981 and continues today with the same ethos of dealing in fine quality English and Continental furniture, mirrors and decorative objects, from the 18th & 19th centuries.
