Made of walnut and in three sections, the lower much deeper than the two above, this is an extremely unusual bookcase by Minty of Oxford in the Art Deco style. The carved frieze has stepped Art Deco decoration, the handles are patinated copper and the shaped feet are angular. It bears a 'Minty of Oxford, Library Specialists' ivorine label inside the top left door.
