A Bonny Antique C.19th Rosewood Bookcase

The top measuring approximately 47" x 42 3/4" x 12 1/2" (height, width, depth)
The lower stage 34" x 41 1/2" x 16 1/4" (height, width, depth)

A rare piece of good, manageable proportion, the upper stage with protruding cornice, oval shaped glazing to doors and interior fitted shelves.
The lower stage consisting of a small drawer furnished with ornate brass handles over a shelved cupboard with pretty oval panels, original brass lock and key.

Very pretty figuration to front.

This item is old and has some minor imprefections commensurate with age.....one lower door has a slight warp but has concealed catch fitted for alignment when closed. The top door lock isn't orginal.
