American Oak Roll Top Desk Writing Table

1 of 6
Antique quality American oak roll top desk writing table by Thomas Turner of London C1925. Great small 3'6" width.
This is a lovely rare quality early 20th Century piece, that is full of charm and character.
Solid with no loose joints and no woodworm.
The desk stands on period wooden and steel castors with some wear as one would expect.
The ash lined drawers slide freely (some internal staining as one would expect).
This is a very rare roll top desk with lovely compact proportions.
Note that this piece can be taken apart for transport, but it will take a couple of hours for a semi-skilled person to reassemble. Alternatively, it can be shipped as one piece, but please bear in mind it's size and weight.
Would look great in the right location!
Overall maximum dimensions: 107cmW x 76cmD x 124cmH (61cmH x 47cmW knee hole).
Historic knocks, marks, chips, cracks, scratches, wear, imperfections, repairs and alterations, as is always the way and to be expected with genuine antique furniture. We have no key and the lock will need replacement (if it is to be used) although the internal drawer locking mechanism works as it should.
Please note that this item is large and heavy. Please make sure before buying that it will fit in and can be maneuvered into the room that it is intended for. The customer will need to provide 1 strong able bodied person(s) for our driver to assist with carrying.
