A superb Alexander Ritchie of Iona Arts and Crafts brass wall mounted candle sconce c1900.

Decorated with a double pennant galley with stylised Glasgow style plant forms and Celtic revival entrelac knot work with a central heart form.

In excellent condition, the sconce importantly retains its original patina and its original hanging hook.

For an identical example see 'Iona Celtic Art, the work of Alexander and Euphemia Ritchie' by E. Mairi MacArthur page 49 colour plate 14c.

Size :- 27cm tall x 15.5cm width x 10cm depth.

Condition: In superb untouched original condition retaining its original patina and rear hanging hook. There is an inconsequential extremely minor ding to the rear corner of the sconce tray mentioned for total accuracy.
