A very pretty Samuel Alcock pot pourri vase decorated in an apple green and pale salmon ground with ornate rococo style side handles and a domed pierced cover with quatrefoil shaped knop formed from overlapping leaves. Stood on a shaped footed base. Each side has a large reserve, one finely painted with a landscape and the other with a fabulous array of colourful garden flowers. Marked to the base with pattern number 2 over 9898 in purple enamel. c.1840.

It measures 21cm (8 1/4") high and 13.3cm (5 1/4") by 11.5cm (4 1/2") wide.

Condition is excellent with no damage, repair or restoration and handling wear is minimal to all areas including the green enamelled ground, gilding and the finely painted reserves. Payment is accepted by bank transfer, card payments (via an online invoice, I'm afraid we cannot take payments over the telephone), Paypal and UK personal cheque.
