Large Constanti Lion Sculpture in Copper Lustre Gl %%alt5%% %%alt6%%
This is a fine and rare imposing large ceramic sculpture of a recumbent Lion by the Constanti factory dating from around 1860. The Lion is handsomely modelled and has a beautiful lusterous glow to the copper lustre finish. This has the Constanti Factory stamp impressed into the base as photographed. This has a couple of old firing cracks that appear to have happened in the kiln as is often the case with these larger pieces. The Lion is quite solid and stable with a lovely antique colour that is so noticeable in any room setting.
This is substantial in size measuring 58 cms wide 36 cms high by 34 cms deep.

Due to the scale and weight of this piece UK delivery can be arranged with our trusted furniture courier who would charge £55 plus vat to most destinations.
PLEASE NOTE WE ARE AWAY UNTIL DECEMBER 1st.
I should still be able to answer your enquiries but items will not be sent out until December 5th.
