Early 20th century agate ware ceramic lidded jar by John Thomas Morton of Filey pottery factory,1933 - 1948. John Thomas Morton worked at the Leeds Pottery factory in the 1890s and later set up at Filey using original moulds. In excellent condition,no damage or restoration. Height 19.5cm.Diameter of top of jar 15cm. Diameter of base 10.5cm. Circumference of body 45cm.(C12)
