Early 19th Century Paris Porcelain Coffee Can 1810
A nice Paris porcelain coffee can finely painted with a rustic Winter country landscape with boulders and trees with partly bare branches and the leaves turning on the others. A cottage peeks out from the trees and two figures are having a conversation in the foreground. The background painted in appropriate muted tones of greys and browns with the figures dressed rather more colourfully in red trousers and purple jerkin. A slim strap handle with lower inner spur with gilt decoration of dots and stripes and gilding around the foot and rim. Unmarked, c.1810.
It measures 6.5cm high and 6.2cm (rim to rim).
In excellent condition with no damage or repair and minimal handling wear.
