A Suit of Armour in the 16th Century Style on Stand Armour Armor German
A well made and full suit of armour in the 16th century "Maximillian style" on a custom made stand and with a later "Tyrolean" hand and a half sword.

The Breast-Plate probably circa 1520 with period repair to one edge.

Decorated with characteristic fluting with incised line borders overall, the main edges mostly turned and roped. Likely made in the late 19th century. Has recently been lightly polished and mounted on a custom made stand.
