An E. Maurice & Co French striking and repeating carriage antique clock. The original case gilding. A high quality gilt fretwork floral dial with blued steel hands and silvered chapter ring. Fluted front and side columns and handle centre. An 8-day duration mechanism striking the 1/2 hours and hours on a gong. Push button repeating. The original lever escapement. Numbered 2151. Circa. 1895.
