A Rare Pair of 19th C Chinese Barrel Stands / Stools
A Rare Pair of late 19th century Chinese hardwood barrel stands / stools / seats. This pair of stands are extremely desirable being of barrel form consisting of a later rouge marble inset top having a hardwood banding and carved moulded edge surrounding it.
This leads down to six bowed and superbly carved foliate supports interlaced with intricate floral and circular shaped pierced carvings of very good form.
In excellent condition having been restored using traditional methods and structurally sound these are a very well formed and rare pair of Chinese stands / seats / stools which can work in a variety of places within the home.
