A Rare Antique Mahogany Tripod Table
An extremely rare and desirable Georgian mahogany tripod table. The circular top sitting above a rare boxed birdcage allowing the table to both revolve and tilt. This tilt top occasional wine lamp breakfast centre supper sofa side table is elegant in design and has all the hallmarks of being by John Bivins. The whole is raised on a gun barrel turned stem and three cabriole shaped legs with pad feet all retaining a wonderful rich original patina. Circa 1770. Measures 29.5”w x 30”h
