A pair of early 18th century candlesticks probably German and having finely spun stems and stepped low bell type bases with shaped bottoms. The baluster type centres decorated with gadrooning with large shaped candle cups.
Makers marks to the underside.
One of the candlesticks has some minor soldering that has been done long ago - commensurate with age, but other than this both sticks are in good condition and have an excellent patina.
