A fine quality set of six early Victorian mahogany dining chairs. They have shaped top and centre rails with high quality carving. The chairs stand on finely turned front legs. These chairs are in excellent strong condition with a lovely original colour and patination. The drop in seats are in good condition and have been recently recovered. Sizes:18 ½ “(47cms) wide, 19”(48cms) deep, 35 ½ “(85cms) high. Seat height: 18”(46cms). Date circa 1840. I have reluctantly decided that after 60 years spent in this marvellous business it is, figuratively speaking, time to hang up my cheque book. I have therefore made considerable reductions to the prices of most of my stock. Please do not hesitate to get in touch if any items are of interest. Deliveries carried at as normal.
