A wonderful mahogany hexagonal display cabinet by Maples and Co , London 1906.
The top part of the vitrine slots into the bottom (table) part.
Hand carved in an oriental kind of pattern, the three shelves are upheld by 4 quarter moon wooden pegs per shelf. The bottom part is mirrored. The Maples mark is engraved on the lock part inside of the cabinet. The last photo shows the impressed maker’s mark in the metal work inside the vitrine.
Measurements are 160cm H x 57cm W x 57cm D
