A Georgian 5 Plank Elm Coffer
The chest is made in solid Elm, it has a scratch carved moulded edge to the top and the sides are cut away to form the legs
The Coffer has a waxed finish it has blacksmith made strap hinges
This is an old piece it has a very good colour, it is in good condition for its years and there is a chip to the front of the lid on the left hand side, and all the wood worm has been exterminated
This Coffer would make a splendid coffee table or Toy Box or even a Log Box
The coffer is 41” long, 14” deep and 19” high
