A French carved mahogany wardrobe/linenpress wardrobe art deco french %%alt5%% %%alt6%%
A large mahogany wardrobe carved with floral designs and made in France in the 1930's. The central section has one shelf and will be fitted with a hanging rail. There are adjustable shelf fittings from top to bottom so this could easily be fitted out with shelves for linen storage. At each side there are adjustable shelves and one small drawer. The front of each shelf and the drawers are inlaid with various coloured woods.
The whole wardrobe comes into almost flat pack for transport. The largest piece is the base that it stands on. We have more pictures showing details and the assembly process. It is in overall very good condition. There are a few minor scuffs but nothing realy noticable. The plint has had some woodworm but this was long ago.
This piece can be purchaced on its own but it is part of a suite including a double bed and bedside cabinet.
