A fine charles II carved oak coffer north country
A fine charles II carved oak joined coffer
The emphasis is on the colour of this chest ,it has a glass like patina absolutely gorgeous.
The three panel lid over an ornate lunette top rail,the three panel front with a flower in a cross motive with double lunette top,the long stile legs and centre stiles with a guilloche design.
In good condition with the original ring hinges ,a small replacement to the bottom canter rail.
As II say the colour is outstanding.
