A Delightful Miniature Brass Shovel antique mini shovel %%alt5%% %%alt6%%
A delightful miniature brass shovel with heart shaped bow, baluster turned shaft and flared pan. There is much to debate around the function of these small shovels but it is thought they were used as cinder shovels for servicing chafing dishes at mealtimes. Continental early to mid 18th century. 160 mm, 6 3/8 inches long
