8 Mid Century Italian Designer Chairs
Set of Eight Elegant Italian High Back Super Light Dinning Chairs Gio Ponti Style
Possibly made for Otto Gerdau Rush Seat Chairs
Gerdau was an import business based in NYC and these chairs are from Italy and are most likely Ponti designs,
though his signature does not appear.
Super light and very elegant mid century design circa 1950-1960s
Ladder back & rush seats, ebonised (black lacquer) Ash. The seats are in very good condition and are not in need of repair.
There are the usual cosmetic imperfections commensurate with age and many places where the lacquer has worn off.
They could be re stained easily or left with their original patina.
No repairs that I can see
