8 Georgian Hepplewhite revival mahogany chairs
Antique set of 8 (6+2) Georgian Hepplewhite revival mahogany dining chairs.
Date from the first half of the 20C and have a lot of age and charm.
Lovely proportions and styling, with drop in seats that have recently been recovered in a very heavy weight upholstery fabric, with a natural, light cream/oatmeal colour.
Solid and heavy, with no loose joints.
Overall maximum dimensions
Carver 600mmW x 610mmD x 1030mmH (480mmH seat, when sat on).
Chair 480mmW x 530mmD x 1000mmH (480mmH seat when sat on).
Historic knocks, marks, repairs and alterations, as is always the way with antique dining chairs. Note that the upholstery is recent with only very light wear and marks. We have not inspected components concealed beneath the fabric. There is evidence of some structural repairs, although everything is good and solid now.
