Here is an example of a superb quality set of 8 antique French matched Louis XV revival oak rush seated provincial ladder-back kitchen-dining chairs, circa 1920. The drop-in (removable) rush seats are in excellent condition. The set features six side chairs and two armchairs. The shaped ladder-backs are typical of French design. The chair frames features elegant shaped friezes below the removable rush seat. The front legs have a very pretty cabriole design. Underneath, the chairs are connected with four stretchers to ensure they are sturdy. The backs of the legs are shaped which is a sign of good quality. The chairs are very comfortable, solid in joint and would look good in either a traditional or contemporary setting.
This item would look superb in a variety of rooms, especially the kitchen or dining room. This item would certainly grace any home or office and a great investment, as they are an extremely functional. So don't miss out your chance to own a lovely piece of antique furniture.

All chairs are solid in joint, do not wobble, are free of woodworm and ready to be used.
