This item is a gilt metal and marble table lamp that we call the 'Three Graces', and it comes complete with a lovely moire silk shade by the makers of the Downton Abbey lampshades.

The base has three busts of female figures backing onto a black polychrome amphora. The busts extend through a reeded centre section. through some foliate decoration, into splayed hoof feet, which rest upon a triangular black and grey marble base with three circular feet.

The shade is in the 'Salzburg' style and is made in a soft aubergine moire silk taffeta, with soft gold fringe, aubergine and gold beaded tassels and matching two tone braid.

The lamp has been completely rewired with antique gold twisted fabric covered wire and all new fittings. As with all electrical items it is recommended that it be checked by a qualified electrician before use.
