DESCRIPTION:
This is a gorgeous Haberdashery counter and is slightly rarer than most having 24 drawers. The counter has an oak frame with a mahogany base and dates from the 1930s. The counter was manufactured by Hamer & Scroggs Kingswood Bristol. The counter stands on block legs. The drawers are oak to the front, sides and back the fronts having the most beautiful configuring in the oak and it has all mellowed to the most beautiful oak with a super patina throughout. The drawers are enhanced further by the patinated oxidised copper pull handles all original to the piece. This is truly a stunning piece and would suit many settings both commercial as well as domestic. We are currently seeing a lot of these being used in domestic home settings in the kitchens as well as offices and studios. They look fantastic and are equally useful in a commercial setting such as cake and confectioners as well as boutiques.

WORKSHOP REPORT:
The Counter is in good condition having had just a general polish. There is a very small fisheye in top back edge centre of the glass top believed to be original to the piece so not really to be thought of as a fault with the piece. The top left hand drawer bottom right has a very slight bit missing see photo too small to worry about or to put through the workshop for.
