Early to mid 20th century Scottish Dirk in its brass mounted leather scabbard. Marked as by R.& H.B. Kirkwood, 64 & 68 Thistle St, Edinburgh. Carved black hardwood grip with interlaced strap work and brass studwork. This is carved with a busby and crossed swords on front side and thistle on reverse side. Faceted glass jewel mounted on pommel. Crest of either the Blackwatch or Camerons on scabbard mount. Also has chiselled thistle work in brass mounts on carved scabbard and hilt. Highly polish fullered blade with faceted backstrap. Overall in very good condition for age.

Approximately 45cm overall and blade 30cm.
