A rare Early/mid 19thC Blacksmith made Wrought Iron Double Candle Holder. The larger of the two holes with long spring accommodating candles of varying diameter as-well as tallow candles and oil soaked rope flax. The shallow heart shaped tray could be filled with water to extinguish any falling sparks and flames.
In exceptional original condition and free from fault.
