Stunning early 19th.c. rosewood chiffonier with unusual chinoiserie lacquered door panels c.1830. Highly figured rosewood veneers to the top, front and sides. Single oak lined drawer over cupboard doors with exceptional and original chinoiserie panels with beautifuly observed exotic birds set amongst an oriental scene in gold against a black laquered ground. Unusually the decoration continues on the inside of the panels with hand painted plant forms. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and polished in our workshops. Key supplied.
