Charming 2 drawer painted pine blanket chest circa 1860 in its original faux mahogany hand decorated exterior finish, and its painted fern green interior, complete with a 2 drawer base standing on shallow bracket feet, and stout steel side carrying handles .

A lovely country made box with a folk art simplicity to it, ample sized, an item that is getting harder to find these days in such untouched 'un messed' with condition, fit for its intended purpose but could also make a lovely coffee table, its your choice for this pleasing rural chest.
