19th Century Mahogany Longcase Clock
A superb example from the 19th century. This large mahogany cased longcase clock has been fully restored and is in full working condition. The arched dial depicts four paintings of cottages with an individual painting titled The Mountain Spring in the arch section. The dial also has a date and sub seconds windows. The case is made of quality mahogany featuring nicely turned columns either side of the face and a nice shaped Gothic fronted door. 8-day mechanical movement made and signed by Thomas Walker of Derby circa 1876.
