A 19th century mahogany Abbatant, converted to a drinks/cocktail cabinet, standing on a plinth base. The cabinet consists of shaped frieze drawers above a drop-down front, the interior being shelved. There are three long graduated, shaped drawers to the base. All drawers have had replacement handles, as has the fall front. The barley twist side supports are very unusual, in the fact that they are turned in the opposite direction to each other, “contra style” and rarely found. This is a fantastic piece in very heavy solid mahogany.
