This is a very good quality Jacobean style stool in beautiful condition dating from the mid Victorian era, circa 1850. The stool is in outstandingly clean condition with a most pleasing design to the carved and parcel gilded base. The top has been recently professionally upholstered in a good quality fabric which suits the piece perfectly. It depicts leaping deer and unicorns in lush foliage and is attractively piped and studded with brass head nails. The stool is stoutly constructed and is in excellent, sound condition ready for use. It measures 64 cms wide, 47 cms high and 45 cms deep.
