A superb and well made solid oak coffer of small proportions. This piece is of a 17th century style having been made in the 19th century, it has all the elements of well crafted chest. The Gothic carving to the front of the coffer has been carried out by a truly fine craftsman. The lid is hinged to the back with stud work to the top panel. circa 1860-80
