A good Victorian elm blanket box with original metal carrying handles. This antique country blanket box has a superb patina and beautiful grain. The condition is very good and the interior is clean. There is some evidence of minor historic wood worm damage, this has been treated for peace of mind. This delightful chest offers a variety of uses in the home, it is perfect for additional storage or to use as a coffee table to add country style to any room.
