Needless to say a heavy piece, is age darkened, the Eagle and snake fighting symbolise two sides of a conflict
At the top the handle of the Door Porter is formed by the body of the snake,
All in good sound contain with an aged patina
The stop is 13” high, 8” wide and 3” deep
