Wonderful quality mid to late 19th century Chinese carved rosewood birdcage tripod type table. The birdcage feature allows the table top to revolve which although reasonably common on English Georgian antique furniture is not common on Chinese antique tables of this kind. The whole piece is beautifully carved throught out with foliage, flowers, birds and animals. The legs terminating in lion paw feet. The top with original insert marble.

The whole piece is in very good condition and is a nice colour and patination.
