This outstanding and unusual Indian Arts and Crafts teak pedestal desk features a roll top with a fitted interior and was made by C. Lazarus & Co., in Calcutta. The desk has a series of secret or hidden compartments in the fitted interior and 4 graduating drawers on either side. It has a paneled finish around all sides and the also on the back, with an oval makers plaque. It measures 54 in – 137.2 cm wide, 35 in – 89 cm deep and 44 ½ in – 113 cm in height, with a kneehole height of 30 in – 76.2 cm. This stylish desk would make an amazing feature in a variety of rooms.
