This attractive car mascot is an original piece dating from approx. the 1930s with all the wear and patina that might be expected. The mascot is made from a heavy cast metal with a chrome finish. She is very much in the art deco style and is naked with a bobbed hairstyle. The bolt which secures her to the car is still present, but the nut appears to be rusted on. Further images are available. Dimensions5cm high (including bolt), 11cm long Category Antique Metalware Date 1930s  Art Deco Antiques Condition Overall in good conditon with some wear consistent with age and use. The piece has the overall scratching, wear and patina that might be expected of a vintage car mascot and the chrome finish has some pitting and corrosion which is heavy in places. The piece is overall grubby and would benefit from being cleaned and polished. There is what appears to be a small manufacturing flaw to one side of her face. Item code as527a037 / 11849 Status Sold
