18thC Welsh Oak Candle Stand Table
A beautiful late 18thC Welsh oak tripod candle stand or wine table of superb quality and craftsmanship. A country piece with rare octagonal tray top supported on a wonderfully turned stem standing on silhouette legs with run mouldings. This wonderful little table features well figured oak throughout, with only two small historic chips to the rim and two gallery edges restored it stands level and stable and is suitable for everyday use. Grain, colour and patina are superb.
Height 27" = 79cm Top across flats 17.5" = 44cm
