Description.
This particular pattern was produced for around a quarter of a century. Gradually, the quality of the execution diminished and, latterly, some of the detailing was carried out by means of simple crosshatching. That is not the case here, where the decoration is finally undertaken, suggesting an early date. The production run of the pattern was 1755–80. We think that 1760 represents a reasonable estimate of the production date. Worcester crescent mmark

In superb antique condition. No apparent defects.
