A gorgeous Flight, Barr & Barr period Worcester porcelain dessert dish of lobed square form with gilt gadrooned rim. A sumptuous bright apple green enamel ground with a shaped central reserve edged in gilt scrolls and finely painted in the centre with a botanical specimen of a Nasturtium. Impressed mark to the back and the plant specimen names in red enamel script. c.1820.

It measures 23cm (9") wide and 3.9cm (1 1/2") high.

In excellent condition: there has been a chip on the reverse of one of the gadroon buds, this cannot be seen from the front. No other damage or repair and very minor handling wear. Payment is accepted by bank transfer, card payments (via an online invoice, I'm afraid we cannot take payments over the telephone), Paypal and UK personal cheque.
