18th Century Red Walnut Chest of Drawers.
This is a robust Georgian Chest of Drawers. It dates to about 1740 and is made of American Virginian Walnut, - red walnut.
Original pine backboards and drawer linings. Hand cut dovetail joints and original iron locks.
The brass handles and escutcheons are correct in manner, period replacements.
Solid, square mid 18th C design and proportions.
Very good working condition throughout.
