An authentic late 18th-century Tibetan altar cabinet retaining its original painted decoration—a rare survival in this condition. Traditionally used in family altars to store sacred objects such as manuscripts, ritual garments, and clarified yak butter for prayer lamps.

Decorated with classic Tibetan motifs, including tigers and Cranes/Phoenixes.

A finely preserved, richly symbolic piece—both functional and decorative.

Good original antique condition with age-appropriate wear and patina.
