A Northern European ( Scandinavian ) mid 18th Century fruit wood Bureau cabinet dating from c 1750. The top with arched cornice above a central arched crossbanded and ebony inlaid door containing a burgundy silk lined interior with single shelf. Flanking the central door, nine drawers with corresponding cross banding and ebony inlay. The bureau base with fall front containing a pine interior and writing surface and with four drawers and shelf. Below, two long drawers, the whole supported on shaped cabriole legs. Excellent mellow colour, good condition with various minor marks consistent with age and use. Payments can be made via bank transfer. We also accept all major credit cards.
