Antique large late 18 or early 19C Georgian mahogany tall boy chest on chest of drawers.

An imposing and impressive chest of drawers with a huge storage capacity and a great dental cornice.

All of the drawers slide freely.

There are no keys and the locks are consequently untested.

Veneer on softwood construction....as is the norm.

Appears to have mostly the original handles although a lot of the nuts seem to have been replaced over the years. 3 of the brass keyhole liners are missing.

This piece of antique furniture would look great in the right location, is attractive and aesthetically very pleasing.

Splits into two parts for transport.

Overall dimensions 1110mmW x 545mmD x 1865mmH (1010mmH top + 880mmH bottom).

Historical knocks, marks, cracking, scratching, imperfections, wear, distortion, repairs and alterations as is usual. There are some historical woodworm holes that we have treated for good measure. Evidence of refinishing and repairs to all of the usual items such as cock beading, veneers, drawers, feet, etc. as one would normally expect to find.

Please note that this chest is large and heavy. Please make sure before buying that it will fit in and can be maneuvered into the room that it is intended for. The customer will need to provide 1 strong able-bodied person to assist our driver carrying the chest.
