18C Georgian crossbanded walnut chest of drawers
Antique 18th Century Georgian crossbanded figured walnut chest of drawers.
Amazing colour and patina.
Great style and proportions.
All of the oak lined drawers slide freely.
Typical veneer on softwood and hardwood construction.
This piece of antique furniture would look great in the right location, is attractive and aesthetically very pleasing.
Overall dimensions 950mmW x 530mmD x 895mmH.
Historical knocks, marks, cracking, imperfections, veneer chips, repairs and alterations as is usual and to be expected. There are some historical woodworm holes that we have treated for good measure. No keys and the locks are untested (lock missing from the top right hand drawer). There will be some staining inside the drawers as is usual. Later feet (there is evidence that these feet are replacements for earlier bracket feet), handles and escutcheons
Please note that this chest is heavy. Please make sure before buying that it will fit in and can be maneuvered into the room that it is intended for. The customer will need to provide 1 strong able-bodied person to assist our driver carrying the chest.
