1845 pattern British Infantry Officers sword in it's original steel scabbard. Bronze gothic hilt with VR cipher and a copper wire bound shagreen grip. Single edged, tapering blade acid etched with VR cipher, foliage and with a brass inlay proof mark. In generally sound condition overall. Scabbard has been heavily cleaned but has no dents. Slight rust staining to blade. Sword fits nicely into it's scabbard.

Approximately 102cm overall and blade 81.5cm.
