17thC Welsh Elm & Oak Dining Table seats 8
A stunning and very rare 17th century Welsh elm and oak dining table from the Pembrokeshire region. The top comprising of three wide elm planks fixed together in a traditional Welsh manner using iron dowels - some of which can be seen in it's most characterful top.
The base is all oak, very dense and heavy, a good sign of quality timber. It is original throughout and looks stunning. The top shows real signs of age and use and has a wonderful colour and grain. These areas of wear to the top show the antique tables history and age in a superb way. A truly special piece.
