1796 pattern Light Cavalry Trooper sword in its steel scabbard. Has in iron hilt with original ribbed leather grip. Broad, curved, single edged blade. In good sound condition for age but some pitting to end of blade and general pitting overall.

Note there are no visible makers or issue marks on this sword.

Approximately 100cm overall and blade length 83cm.
