1796 pattern Light Cavalry sword in its scabbard. Has a steel stirrup hilt with ribbed leather grip. Steel scabbard engraved with Woolley & Co, Birmingham on one side. No debts to scabbard but lightly pitted overall. Broad, curved, single edged blade which is engraved on the spine Woolley & Co on spine. Also stamped with an inspection mark of crown over 1. Blade rust stained overall and with one of two small edge nicks. In good sound condition overall with some filler applied to original leather grip.

Approximately 99cm and blade 83.5cm.
